TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF SALE
1. Customer agrees to electronic funds transfer on all checks submitted
to us by the signer or an employee of the signer for payment for merchandise or
services.
2. Special order sales are prepaid and final. Sales of custom configured
systems are final. No returns or exchanges of special order sales. NIT retains
title to all goods until all goods and services are paid in full.
3. There will be a $25.00 charge assessed for all returned checks.
4. No returns after (3) business days. There will be a 20% restocking fee on all returns on sales over $20.00. Returns on sales for under $20.00 will be subject to a restocking fee of 20% and a $5.00 processing fee. Returns of goods purchased with a credit card will be credited to Customer's credit card. All returned merchandise shall be in Its original original packing with all packing material, drivers and manuals. There will be a $30.00 testing fee on all returned merchandise found not to be defective.
5. All merchandise
carries the manufacturer's warranty only. NIT makes no warranties of any nature
whatsoever and specifically disclaim the warranties of fitness for a particular purpose and of merchantability.
6. Sales of custom cable assemblies are final. The customer is
responsible to provide us with the correct pin out for such assemblies.
7. NIT requires a 50% deposit on all premises wiring jobs, with the
balance due upon completion of the work. If the installation location is under construction , or for any reason other than due to our failure to
perform, we are prevented from completing a job on schedule, Customer agrees the remaining sums due to us shall be immediately due and payable.
Customer further agrees to pay us the sum of $75.00 in connection with every additional trip we are required to make to the job site for reasons not
related to our performance. Services requested by Customer to be perform after normal business hours will be invoiced as 1.5 times our regular
hourly service rates. Services requested to be performed on weekends will be invoiced at 2 times our regular hourly service rates. After hour and
weekend services are performed if our schedule permits.
8. Unpaid balances shall accrue interest at the rate of 1.5% per month.
Customers agrees to pay all costs of collection including reasonable attorney's fees at the trial and appellate levels.
9. Sales on tools & testers are final. Signature: liability shall be limited to the purchase consequential damages. Systems assembled by NIT are subject to the additional terms and conditions contained in NIT's System Warranty.
